It is with special sadness UH pays tribute to Cleo Sylvestre as an interview was in the process of being planned when she died, after she attended our readings at Newington Green – having been part of the original cast of Jackie Kay’s Twice Over
We are pleased to share the Guardian obituary but would love to hear more, especially about her work in alternative theatre, her one-woman show The Marvellous Adventures of Mrs Seacole and especially her times as joint Artistic Director of the Rosemary Branch of which she ran for many years from 1996 with Cecilia Darker.
