The show, a tribute to William Blake, included stilt-walkers, fire-eaters, performing bears, Punch and Judy, trade-union banners and radical students.
John Fox (2013): ‘We had fire eaters, dancing bears, stilt walkers and fireworks with different groups of students providing different parts. It was like some huge moving tapestry with each group filing in a part. It was all very conscious expanding. There was a tremendous energy in the Bradford projects with most of the work coming through the students own motivation. It showed me what could be done by giving young people more responsibility.’
